“It’s been a long time coming that myself and Jalifa were meant to release a record together,” says Dwala. “We listened to a bunch of music and she immediately gravitated towards this riddim. It’s powerful and commanding, just like her voice!”
Dwala, known for his intricate, genre-defying production and a discography spanning underground legends and global icons alike, goes back to his foundation on this one. Live instruments and MPC drums, sculpting a riddim that’s both raw and regal - the perfect foundation for Jalifa to rise like fire.

Nicknamed the Fyah Princess, Jalifa has spent the last decade commanding Caribbean and international stages with an electrifying presence and a voice as fierce as it is soulful. “This song is about embracing me and expressing my authentic self and roots through sound,” says Jalifa. “It says a lot for itself - but it’s all about me, and there’s no other like me. I am uniquely designed and I love and embrace myself wholeheartedly.”
